Join Jay W. Hungate, the creator of the Museum's "Sound Car", as we use common everyday materials to create fun musical toys that gotta' go! We'll use recycled materials to make and decorate our own unique sound cars. We'll see what sort of unique sounds each makes and then watch them go, go, go! Space is limited to 10 people. Central Productions is a nonprofit film production organization whose programs make the production of new, independent & innovative motion pictures more accessible to emerging filmmakers and to connect local productions to a local audience. The ever-evolving and award winning Revolving Museum is offering a special workshop opportunity to invent your own toy and or game as part of their "Toys and Games: More Than Amusement," gallery exhibition and public artwork. You will brainstorm ideas and collaborate to design, construct, and install a dynamic artwork responding to game boards, puzzles, video and educational toys, sports, game shows, carnival booths, and more. You will also learn about the history of toys and games from colonial times to contemporary society.
